Ameerally Kassim-Lakha joins Board of Canadian Charity founded by His Majesty King Charles


The King's Trust Canada proudly announces the appointment of Ameerally Kassim-Lakha, President, Aga Khan Council for Canada, to its Board of Directors. Ameerally’s longstanding leadership experience within the Ismaili Community and Aga Khan Foundation Canada makes him a valuable addition.


Ameerally was previously Chairman of the Multi-Generational Housing Board for Canada, focused on establishing independent, assisted living, long-term care, and affordable housing facilities for Canadian seniors and families. He also served as Vice-Chair of Aga Khan Foundation Canada’s National Committee and Chair of its Audit Sub-Committee – partnering with organizations in Africa and Asia to build strong, healthy and inclusive communities in the region. 


Kassim-Lakha was also Director of the Global Center for Pluralism’s Head Office rehabilitation in Ottawa, Chairman of the Aga Khan Education Board for Canada, and Chairman of the Ismaili Community’s Religious Education Board for Ontario.

Ameerally Kassim-Lakha joins board members The Honourable Elizabeth Dowdeswell, Laurel Broten, Tania Carnegie, Greg Frankson, Chethan Lakshman, Cynthia (Cindy) Thorburn, Malik Talib, Janine Windolph and Chair Emeritus Hon. Hilary M. Weston.
