Safia Mirza, Senior Cloud Engineering Manager at KPMG Canada

Safia Mirza is a Senior Cloud Engineering Manager at KPMG Canada, where she builds and maintains solutions using Azure currently using Generative AI and prompt engineering in her latest projects. She studied Law at university, and started her career as a Paralegal then moved to Financial Compliance for four years before starting her tech career at KPMG UK. Whilst at KPMG UK, Safia created an Introduction to Python course to make the tech sector a more diverse place by teaching people skills needed to enter. She has taught this course at KPMG, charities, schools, to groups of women and in prisons, as well as live-streaming it during the pandemic to over 17,000 views in 30+ countries and territories.
